Today we read:
Malachi 3-4

The Word of God says:
“For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6:21‬ ‭AMPC‬

This is what I call the heart test; knowing the state of your heart. That means, to know how much you love the Lord, you must also examine where you spend most of your money. If what takes your money is material things, that tell you where your heart is, (1 John 2:15-17) but if what takes your money is the work of The Kingdom, it tells you your heart is after God and the work of The Kingdom of God (Matthew 6:33).

No one can outgive God, but He will always give you the opportunity to give for the work of the ministry to test your love for Him and the state of your heart.

Giving is an act of worship and faith towards God. It is also an opportunity God gives you to take part in what He is doing.

That is why Paul said: “… it is more blessed to give than to receive… (Acts 20:35).”

Remember: your treasure will always expose the state of your heart. Whether you love God or the world.

Make God’s Kingdom your treasure!
