Today we read:
Ezekiel 23-27

Love is expressed by your actions and not mere words. Saying you love someone without corresponding actions is hypocrisy.

The Word of God says: “Jesus answered, If a person [really] loves Me, he will keep My word [obey My teaching]; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home (abode, special dwelling place) with him.”
‭‭John‬ ‭14:23‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

Keeping God’s Word has to do with practicing what you say. That means that the fruit of love can be seen in your actions.

“Little children, let us not love [merely] in theory or in speech but in deed and in truth (in practice and in sincerity).”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭3:18‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

That’s is why fruits are necessary to know what someone is made out of.

“You will fully recognize them by their fruits. Do people pick grapes from thorns, or figs from thistles?”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7:16‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

Disciples of Jesus are known by their fruits of love (John 13:34-35).

Remember: Love is not in words only, but also in deeds. For love is not in what you say but what you do!
