-Food for thought day 288-

• Romans 12:18
• Ephesians 2:14
• Matthew 5:9

Love seeks for peace. It’s important to always do your best to live peaceably with all men.

“If possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭12:18‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

Jesus Christ came to bring peace between God and humanity. He didn’t come to sow seeds of discord. True love gives birth to unity, not offenses. The spirit of offense has its origin from satan. You must be very alert not to let offense rule over you (Luke 17:1-5)

That is why you must learn to pursue peace due to the fact that Jesus Christ came to break down the walls of offense that brought separation between God and humanity; Jesus came to sow peace. Without Christ’s love, you and I would still be separated from God. But His love for humanity caused Him to give His life for us, thus making peace with God. We are now plugged in God because of Christ’s love for us.

“For He is [Himself] our peace (our bond of unity and harmony). He has made us both [Jew and Gentile] one [body], and has broken down (destroyed, abolished) the hostile dividing wall between us,”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭2:14‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

The Word of God says: “Blessed (enjoying enviable happiness, spiritually prosperous–with life-joy and satisfaction in God’s favor and salvation, regardless of their outward conditions) are the makers and maintainers of peace, for they shall be called the sons of God!”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5:9‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

Remember: Truth goes after peace.

Be a peacemaker!

Many blessings in Jesus’ Name.

Think and act!!!!!
