The fruit of God’s Love that has to do with the character, is birthed by the inward working of the Holy Spirit.

The Word of God says: “But you have been anointed by [you hold a sacred appointment from, you have been given an unction from] the Holy One, and you all know [the Truth] or you know all things.

But as for you, the anointing (the sacred appointment, the unction) which you received from Him abides [permanently] in you; [so] then you have no need that anyone should instruct you. But just as His anointing teaches you concerning everything and is true and is no falsehood, so you must abide in (live in, never depart from) Him [being rooted in Him, knit to Him], just as [His anointing] has taught you [to do].”

The Holy Spirit in us makes sure we manifest the fruit of love as we yield to Him. He is the One that spreads the Love of God in our hearts.

“Such hope never disappoints or deludes or shames us, for God’s love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit Who has been given to us.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭5:5‬ ‭AMPC.

The spreading of God’s Love in our hearts is a form of the baptism of the Holy Spirit. That implies the way of walking in God’s Love, that has to do with being immersed in God Spirit.

Every believer must practise being filled with the Holy Spirit by prayer, fasting, praise and worship and giving thanks to the Lord so that we can always manifest God’s character of love to the people we encounter in this life.

“And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery; but ever be filled and stimulated with the [Holy] Spirit. [Prov. 23:20.] Speak out to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, offering praise with voices [and instruments] and making melody with all your heart to the Lord, At all times and for everything giving thanks in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God the Father. Be subject to one another out of reverence for Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).”

Remember: you can’t walk in love without being immersed with the Holy Spirit.

Practise being filled with the Holy Spirit.
