Isaiah 39-40
Ephesians 1-3

-Food for thought day 260-

•‭‭ John‬ ‭3:16‬
•‭‭ John‬ ‭15:13‬
• 2 Corinthians 8:5

The evidence of loving people is giving ourselves unreservedly to them. God gave Himself to us in the person of Jesus Christ.

“For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

That is why loving people puts us in a vulnerable place, in which we can get hurt or wounded in the process. However, these things cause us to grow stronger in love, and love even more (Romans 8:35-39).

Jesus Christ even went as far as giving His life for us.

That is why the Word of God says:“No one has greater love [no one has shown stronger affection] than to lay down (give up) his own life for his friends.”
‭‭John‬ ‭15:13‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

All our gifts are unacceptable to God until we learn to give ourselves unreservedly to Him. We demonstrate that when we give ourselves unreservedly, to minister to the needs of others.

“Nor [was this gift of theirs merely the contribution] that we expected, but first they gave themselves to the Lord and to us [as His agents] by the will of God [entirely disregarding their personal interests, they gave as much as they possibly could, having put themselves at our disposal to be directed by the will of God]–”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭8:5‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

Remember: loving God means giving yourself unreservedly to others for the salvation of their soul.

Give yourself unreservedly to others when it comes to walking in God’s Love.

Many blessings in Jesus’ Name.

Think and act!!!!!
