Today we read:
Isaiah 22-23

There are many believers who don’t function in God’s power because of fear or wanting to be in control of their circumstances. As a result of this, they lack the power of God flowing through them to others.

“For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control.”
‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭1:7‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

The root cause of fear in your life is the lack of love. You don’t trust God’s love in you to keep from evil and also make sure you constantly experience the victory.

“For whatever is born of God is victorious over the world; and this is the victory that conquers the world, even our faith.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭5:4‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

You are not only born of God, but He placed in you Himself, in the person of the Holy Spirit to make sure you always win. And if truly you love God so much, you don’t need to be afraid of what man or the devil may do to you. God’s Love will constantly seek you out (Romans 8:32).

There is no fear in love, so quit being afraid and trust in God’s Love.

“There is no fear in love [dread does not exist], but full-grown (complete, perfect) love turns fear out of doors and expels every trace of terror! For fear brings with it the thought of punishment, and [so] he who is afraid has not reached the full maturity of love [is not yet grown into love’s complete perfection].”

Remember: love is not fearful.

Being fearless and love hard, trusting God’s infinite Love in you (His Holy Spirit) will never fail or disappoint (Romans 5:5).
