Micah 4-6

-Food for thought day 201-

• 1 John 4:18
• Luke 12:15

God’s Love removes every insecurity out of our lives. God’s Love is not dependent on how we see ourself, but It is how He sees us. That is why we should stop trying to impress Him.

In nowadays society, where the people measure success based on what they have accumulated naturally, has caused many to be insecure.

The Bible says: “And He said to them, Guard yourselves and keep free from all covetousness (the immoderate desire for wealth, the greedy longing to have more); for a man’s life does not consist in and is not derived from possessing overflowing abundance or that which is over and above his needs.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭12:15‬ ‭AMPC

That is why Jesus died on the cross so that every insecurity in man as a result of his fallen Adamite nature, will be removed.

Most often we see ourselves unworthy of His Love, but it’s due to His Love for us that every insecurity in our lives is removed and replaced with faith and boldness.

For this reason, the word of God says: “There is no fear in love [dread does not exist], but full-grown (complete, perfect) love turns fear out of doors and expels every trace of terror! For fear brings with it the thought of punishment, and [so] he who is afraid has not reached the full maturity of love [is not yet grown into love’s complete perfection].”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭4:18‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

Loving people for who they are, and not what you want them to be, will help remove insecurity in their lives, because people always expect someone to like them for what they offer. However God’s Love for us is not based on what we can give Him, but what He has given us.

Remember: Love is a remover of insecurity.

Many blessings in Jesus’ Name.
