Bible Study Plan 2020

Today we read:
Philippians 1-3

-Food for thought 2020 day 17-

• 1 Corinthians 9:27

The flesh must be punished by choice and by force for you to come to know God’s voice and His will for your life or for you to be led by God’s Spirit.

Paul said:

“I am crucified with Christ (Galatians 2:20).

They that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh (Galatians 5:24).”

“Like an athlete I punish my body, treating it roughly, training it to do what it should, not what it wants to. Otherwise, I fear that after enlisting others for the race, I myself might be declared unfit and ordered to stand aside.”
1 Corinthians 9:27 TLB

This means that the flesh will never die voluntarily however it must be put to death by force, the same way Jesus was crucified.

Therefore,  it’s important for you to first surrender to God if you want to know God’s voice and His will (Romans 12:1-2).

Remember: God’s will is always acceptable, good and perfect. There is no need to struggle to surrender to God.

Surrender!!!!

Many blessings in Jesus’ Name.

Think and Act!!!!
