And now, behold, the Lord has kept me alive, as He said, these forty-five years since the Lord spoke this word to Moses, while the Israelites wandered in the wilderness; and now, behold, I am this day eighty-five years old. Yet I am as strong today as I was the day Moses sent me; as my strength was then, so is my strength now for war and to go out and to come in. So now give me this hill country of which the Lord spoke that day. God is always so faithful to honour His Word in our lives. Caleb waited for forty five years and God still honoured His Word in His life.

We must all know God does not have idle words . What He says that is what He does. That is why we must hold fast to what He promised us and not unto our feelings or circumstances. He will surely make good in our lives as He has promised.

God is not a man, that He should tell or act a lie, neither the son of man, that He should feel repentance or compunction [for what He has promised]. Has He said and shall He not do it? Or has He spoken and shall He not make it good?”

We must not stop to pray due to delay of the manifestation of God’s promises (Luke 18:1-8). We should learn to make the promises to become our only truth and reality in our world of influence and in all we say and do, knowing though it may tarry, it will surely come to pass.

For the vision is yet for an appointed time and it hastens to the end [fulfillment]; it will not deceive or disappoint. Though it tarry, wait [earnestly] for it, because it will surely come; it will not be behindhand on its appointed day. [Heb. 10:37, 38.]”
