The truth is abundance does not begin in our bank account but it starts in our mental attitude. The way we view money or financial abundance. Many have lack in this area due to their mentality about it. Our heart and mind only get results in the area of their focus.

Jabez his problem was not his name or where he was born. His problem was how he saw God and himself. He only prospered because he change his perspective about God.

Jabez cried to the God of Israel, saying, Oh, that You would bless me and enlarge my border, and that Your hand might be with me, and You would keep me from evil so it might not hurt me! And God granted his request.”

The first step He took for his mental attitude to change is to surrender his mind to the will of God, so that he can gained understanding.
